Miss Sunny a lot, she was the most beautiful dog. I always see other Retrievers at the beach and remind me of her. If you like dogs these are the best surely.

Waiting in dentist office. More needles jabs and drills.
Ust be all the wear and tear from my moaning.

Just off to training at Sunnybank. End of a long day good to get some exercise late in the day. Not much but something.
Radio going and just listening to how the biggest debtor nation on earth is telling Greece what to do. Those yanks have a lot to answer for.

Thursday Already

Most importantly there were a few small waves on offer this morning. Not much but something, so thanks kamisama.

Training tonight at Sunnybank, so just off to do the drive up. Nothing exciting, other than another long weekend coming up and Monday a holiday. FOR SOME AT LEAST.

Tuesday

Wonderful sunny start to the day but no surf, so a quick retreat back home to do some work. Though a new swell is expected later in the week so things are looking good

Game analysis and such to get on with today and training tonight. Also some planning to do. I will be working with Chubu Denryoku team in Nagoya as well as the Meijo university team, so need to get some ideas moving. A short trip to Japan in Early June should get things kick started.

Non Daily

Blog supposed to be daily but a busy few days so fell off the truck. Some good some not so.

Poor Sunny our wonderful golden retriever of 13 years had to be put down on Thursday so a very sad day in the Davies Family. We miss her so much..Girls are really missing her.

Game on Saturday v Souths went very well, the boys really fronted and we ended up winning 35-15. Some really good stuff. Norths this coming weekend and that might be tough as well.

Surf has been average, but at least it is still warm and the numbers in the water are thinning out, only the diehards from here on in for the winter.

Seems like the planet is going through a major stretch in the last few weeks. Earhtquakes, volcanoes and today another earthquake here in Australia, 4.8 in Calgoorlie.

Gold Coast been showery today as well and the surf messy, so not much on offer today. Need to get in the water tomorrow though so that the gills dont stop working.

Monday

Monday morning, weekend flew. Where did it it go. Lots on today especially catching up on e-mails and stuff, as well as analysis of Saturdays game.

Beat Wests, although not as comfortably as I expected. Deb did really really well in Triathlon yesterday with a great time of 1hr 41 mins, which was great.

The lucky 100 campaign seems to be doing well. Lots of people hitting the right button at the right time and coming up with free stickers as part of our promotion.

Gotta let you know about the waves of course, small but clean and even a few Lefts on the beach at Burleigh. Lovely morning.

Game for Sunnybank first of the season at home tomorrow v Wests, and then the Reds v Bulls and Debs Triathlon on Sunday.

An apartment booked in Main Beach for 2 nights so relax down there and just cruise over to the race site which is just across the road, early on Sunday.

Thursday Already

Time flies, where did Wednesday go. The Gin & Tonics on the deck would have made it go faster, celebrating some decent waves yesterday, and though smaller this morning, still a beautiful day offshores and clean.

The website has had some updates, done by Paul at Tokyo Web Designs and looking good, some Lucky 100 people each day get FREE STICKER SETS which cant be bad.

Meetings coming up with National Chains interested in taking on the product which hopefully will see us go berserk. Fingers crossed...

Busy weekend of surfing and then Gold Coast Triathlon on Sunday for wife Deborah as she ploughs on with her quest to be the fittest of them all.

Long day Tuesday. 4 hours in a dentists chair to start it off. Yes 4 hours. At one point I think the drill touched back of my head.
Anyway all done and then off to training and the review of the weekend game. Lot of disappointed players but at least they were positive about needing to improve their performance. So good came of a poor game.
Need to get some surf time today, an increase in swell and offshores so looking good.

Late Monday

Watching European rugby and just thinking: how jealous Southern Hemisphere administrators of the game must be. Full grounds a great brand of rugby and crowds who really get into it. S14 at the moments is bland in front of a few men and their dogs and very predictable. Maybe I've had one too many gin and tonics.

Mon evening

Early evening and settling down with a red wine. Niiice as AT would say. Ask me about it. Me dog and daughter and a lovely cool afternoon. Only thing wrong with the day......? No surf. Tomorrow is another day.

A beautiful morning, which has now clouded over, and indeed a few clouds appearing here on the Gold Coast. Winter is coming but who would know, not much difference here.

Busy morning looking at boats, and stocking up on a few essentials to help keep my ever growing garden up to scratch. If anyone out there knows the ultimate weedkiller then let me know, I have a cheque for 1 million bucks for you.

More enquiries feeding in overnight for the business in Japan, so hopefully the trickle will soon become a river, and then the flood. Who knows.

Need some Surf

Well as told in previous message, games for the weekend are over. Was hoping to get some surf in the next few days but not looking good for anything of any size.

Been trying to get some exposure for the new website in Japan, www.thestickerfamily.jp. Lots of free sticker giveaways, but it seems that people are always a bit suspicious about something that is REALLY free. Maybe people think there is a catch, but we are planning to give 1000 free sets of stickers away to get the business up and running and visible.

Need sales agents as well, so anyone out there based in Japan who wants to generate an income please let me know.

Well we contived to loose yesterday which sort of ruined the weekend. But Sunday now another beautiful day and a morning spent on the Broadwater cycling and swimming. It doesn't take long to be over a loss when the next day is as good as this.
